I love monochrome in the sense of putting the good old classic black and white together in an outfit. I’m not keen on masses of black and white striped trousers, shirts, shorts etc etc that is the massive SS13 trend.
T SHIRT TOPSHOP
BANGLES TOPSHOP AND MARC JACOBS AT MY WARDROBE
I love this Bershka skirt, (although it’s one of those that keeps rising up) not only is it my favourite leopard print but i’m really drawn to all the sports shaped skirts. There are so many around at the moment with such amazing patterns and they make the perfect dress up or dress down outfit. For me a classic white t-shirt is perfect keeps in with the sporty look but with a pair of Zara heel’s gives it that feminine touch.
What do you guys think? You can’t beat the safety of a black and white combination but i’m already thinking how this skirt would look great with a bright coloured t shirt also!!!

At the moment i’m a bit lost on how to style my hair. It’s at that shoulder length, in between stage and after having all my hair extensions removed that i had glued in for almost a year my hair feel’s really fine and a little bit lifeless. I mainly wear it up in the very popular top not bun with the whole donut palavar but i get bored easily when it comes to hair so it’s exciting to see what new styling tools are around and on the market at the moment.
Cue the NEW Babyliss pro curler……
I had seen a demonstration in our local hair and beauty wholesale and was totally impressed. So when my lovely hairdresser mentioned she had one, i couldn’t wait to try it.
Unlike most tong’s, wand’s and roller’s this amazing hair tool can work on all hair lengths and types. You can choose the size of your curl and which direction you wish your curl to go. You simply place the pro curler on your section of hair, it then twists it up, few seconds later you hear 3 beeps and you let go. No burns, no knots, no tangles, no straight or kinked ends.
It’s basically idiot proof and fantastic especially if styling your hair is something you find hard to do or doesn’t come naturally to you.
My hair curls well generally anyway but the pro curler definatley made my curls appear softer and more natural. The curls didn’t drop out at all either which i was really impressed with. Although my hair isn’t heavy, curls always drop a bit but these really kept their volume and bounce considering no extra products apart from a spritz of hair spray was used.
The only cons i would say is that like all styling techniques used with tools it’s somewhat time consuming still and you can only gather a certain size section of hair otherwise too thick a section it will chew it up but that’s quite unlikely but not impossible!!!!!
Over all i loved the look and will most definately request this again next time i’m in the hair salon.
To purchase at the moment the average RRP is ranging around £160 but with the world wide web you could find a competitive price. Most hair and beauty wholesale’s are selling them so if your lucky enough to be in the industry you can order from your nearest wholesale.

What do you think? I’d love to know your favourite styling tools!

I know i’m a bit slow as July’s nearly over but had to do a post on these gorgeous Sleek pout paints that were in my Glossy box this month.
For anyone that doesn’t know glossy box is a beauty box subscription. Each month you receive an amazing box full of trial and sample size goodies that are suited to you with all the information about the products, How to use them and where you can buy the full sized product If you want to. You can see all of their brands they use and box details HERE
This month these amazing Sleek pout paints were inside. I’ve always wanted to use them but have literally never got round to ordering them so i was so excited to see these in my box.
Sleeks pout paint range come in a good variety of colours but more importantly they’re designed to be mixed.
The red (157 pin up) is a bright vibrant red that alone is simply stunning. I mixed a tiny amount of the Blue (163 peek-a-bloo) to create a rich dark chocolate cherry colour, it looked good enough to eat and with the fantastic high gloss shine it really gives an elegance and glamour to it.
On my lip i used MAC Lip pencil in Current. The finished look gives a real luscious look. I love how rich and shiny the finish is. The colour lasts really well but i would recommend maybe mixing the gloss’ into a small tester pot that you can get from most cosmetic stores and using a brush to apply as the gloss is thick and it could get quite messy.
You can check out what else Sleek have to offer and the rest of their pout paint colours HERE .
I’m looking forward now to playing a bit more and mixing the blue with different pinks for a rich purple colour.
What do you guy’s think. Do you like the idea of having a bit of fun and mixing your own colour or prefer just to have a standard lip gloss or stick i’d love to know.

HEAD CHAIN CLAIRES
NECKLACE STELLA AND DOT
CHELSEA BOOTS TOPSHOP
It’s fair to say that skorts and callots have been my ‘go to’ items this summer. These callots i’ve been wearing a lot. They are so comfortable and being in leopard print make’s them an easy wear and a simple black top like the one i’m wearing keeps it effortless which i like for my day wear.
Feeling inspired by festival season i accessorized my look with this cute head chain and decided to wear my new Chelsea boots from topshop. I haven’t taken them off since i got them last week. I’ve wanted a pair for so long so i’m totes chuffed, you’ll be seeing alot more of them 😉
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Here’s to another week.

BLOUSE DOROTHY PERKINS

BANGLE MARC JACOBS
RINGS RIBON AND ASHER AT DOROTHY PERKINS
NECKLACE DOROTHY PERKINS
As soon i saw these shorts i had to have them. I love the hem pattern on them and the textured material is so comfortable. When i ordered them they appeared more yellow to me than what they are but i love them all the same.
I had a little shopping spree in Dorothy Perkins and found this blouse. The detail on the short sleeve is what got me. It makes the sheer white classic blouse that extra bit of glam and special and makes a change from a studded collar and such like.
I’ve finished this outfit off with my favourite Zara shoes. I didn’t think twice about putting these on with this outfit i love how they look when wearing shorts.
What do you think of my shorts? Check out miss guided and look at the other colours they have in! It’s tempting to get them in every colour!!! 😉
