….GETS BLOGGED!!!! Well what i remember of it anyway!! It’s fair to say i was looking forward to Las Vegas as much as i was to Blog about it. A Couple of pool parties, lots of shopping, gorgeous restaurants, winnings from sensible gambling. This didn’t seem to be, so i apologise now. All photo’s taken were on i phone 4s and basically what you see is what we was getting!!
I have actually been to vegas before this was in fact my third time. I got married there nearly 6 years ago and went again a few years back. This time around we decided to go for our 5 year anniversary break but as our anniversary is in December we decided to hold of for the warmer climes. It was definitely worth it.

We started partying on the saturday at the Wet Republic pool at the MGM Grand hotel. Tiesto was the Dj of choice. The whole day was fantastic, what can i say we drunk far too much, had a fantastic time and can’t remember getting back to the hotel room!!
In the evening we attended the Floyd “money” Mayweather and Gurerra Boxing Match also at the MGM Grand. We love boxing and most times we have gone to Las Vegas there has been a big (boxing) fight we have been to see.
The atmosphere at these big events are amazing. The Americans spirit and patriotism for their fellow country men and women participating in these sports is something to be admired. They’re not as fickle and most certainly do not glory hunt or just support the ‘man of the moment’ like us brits can tend to do (not all i know!). The fight was amazing but i won’t bore you with my thought’s on it all, it’s not what your here for.
Before we knew it Sunday had come and today we was once again at the Wet Rebublic for Calvin Harris. The Man of the moment. I was so excited i Love Calvin Harris and have been a fan of his music for years. I still listen to his 2009 album Ready for the weekend often, i just don’t tire of his music.
We made friends with loads of fantastic people which just added to the fun and frolicks of the day.
There’s a real diverse fashion culture in America. I suppose like here everyone is different. New york being my favourite fashion state in the world, California some i get some i don’t. A lovely Canadian girl i met asked me what i thought of how American girls dressed. Such a good question as it had certainly gone through my mind especially in Vegas how more women seemed to dress for the male attention than us Brittish tend too! Not all i know! I do feel though It is very obvious when you see a lady who dresses for a man to a lady who dresses for herself or for the admiration of other women. I’ll leave that there though.
My Gorgeous canadian girls Maddison and Mandy both wearing Victoria Secret bikini’s.
Having only ever been to vegas in the winter time i cant compare pool parties to any other. I do know Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel has always been a popular choice. A lot of vegas regulars who we met were now saying the Wet Republic was the one to be at. Prices were quite reasonable on a normal entry ticket $30 female $70 male and drinks totally average with good serving sizes. The entertainment being the biggest DJ’s of the moment is nothing to complain about. The waiters and waitress’ all look stunning and are completely perfect in fact i believe most are models from a local modelling agency so you can imagine. The atmosphere is laid back although they do have a strict clothing policy on the door. Once your in though it’s just the most fantastic time you will more than likely forget simply because your having such a good time. If like me you wake up in your hotel room wondering how you got there you know you done the wet republic how it should be done.
PLEASE CHECK OUT THIS VINE POSTED BY THE WET REPUBLIC OF CALVIN HARRIS ON SUNDAY 5TH MAY https://vine.co/v/b2aax5Bljul
Although these days were fun there came the suffering, jet lag and hangover on the last day caught up and so we just chilled by the pool, stilling talking and meeting new people which is one of my favourite things.
Now I’m not going to lie as if i came away from Las Vegas empty handed. We still made it up the strip to the caesars palace where i did purchase a gorgeous new pair of Jimmy Choo’s. I will save them for another post though!! (Yes they’re that lush they deserve their own blog).

So this is all i have to bring. I wish i could write about reviews on shows, concerts, other hotel pool parties but it just didn’t happen like that in our 3 days out there. I even had loads of lovely evening outfits i wanted to share but not one picture has been taken 😦 Probably for the best though ;-). Everyone needs to go to Las Vegas it most certainly a place where anything can happen and the unexpected alway does.
Have you ever Been to Las Vegas and what are your funny stories we’d love to know
Lots Of Love
